Aisles

A Store can have aisles to group groceries on your list. Aisles appear in the order you set, including when they're empty.

Managing aisles

Open Manage Stores and edit a Store. Add an aisle by typing its name below the colour picker and pressing Enter. Edit a name to rename an aisle, drag the handle to reorder it, or press X to remove it.

Sorting groceries

Drag a grocery by its handle to move it between aisles. On a phone, press and hold the row.

• Drag it to the top of the Store to remove it from its aisle.
• Drag it into another Store to move it there.
• To choose an aisle directly, open the grocery and use the Aisle field.

Groceries without an aisle appear at the top of their Store.

How aisles are remembered

Aisles are remembered per Store and ingredient, so different names for the same ingredient can share an aisle. For example, assigning "melk" to Zuivel also assigns "milk" and "Melk (halfvol)" to that aisle.

Renaming an aisle keeps its groceries. Removing an aisle leaves its groceries unassigned. Each Store remembers its own aisles, and deleting a Store deletes its aisle settings.

Groceries with the same name and unit share a row, so moving that row moves them all.
